Research
On July 8, 2025 I successfully defended my dissertation titled, “Reproductive Justice on Ice? A qualitative exploration of Black women’s egg freezing experiences.”
As part of my dissertation project, I created a quilt with the help of the study’s participants. The B(ART) Study Quilt was recently raffled to raise money for donations to Fertility For Colored Girls. Thanks to the support of those who have submitted a donation, I was able to raise $412 which has been donated to Fertility For Colored Girls.
An interview about my dissertation, creating the quilt, and the raffle has been featured on CUNY Graduate Center’s website which can be accessed by clicking on the below image.
